N&E Consult International Limited (NECI) is a private Ugandan company based at Makerere University. The firm specialises in planning and managing projects both as consultants and contractors. NECI has particular interest in environmental; developmental; health; information systems; investment and engineering projects and programs.

NECI sources both its staff and consultants from both Ugandan institutions such as Makerere University and Kyambogo University, among others while others have attained their education abroad. The minimum education level of the pool of researchers that we have is masters, with PhD as our highest. The research assistants have attained at least undergraduate level of education in the different disciplines. The assistants are selected and grouped in such a way that each team comprises of those who speak the local language of the community they would work in.
